USDA-Tested Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) is sourced from bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE)-negligible regions in throughout the world for use in low-risk applications. This serum is filtered in the US and considered to be foot and mouth disease (FMD)-free. Each lot is safety tested by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) in accordance with safety protocols required for the serum country of origin. This serum is largely sourced from Central America.
